Many people still struggle to fall asleep at night, tossing and turning, and staring at the ceiling for hours, just unable to drift off.  But there’s hope, as there are a few tips you can utilize to make sure your body knows when it’s time to . You must know: help you lose weight.

First off, stay clear of or other strenuous physical activities when it’s close to your normal .  Anything that requires a good amount of physical activity is going to get your heart pumping, and adrenaline flowing, both of which are bad things for you and your ability to fall asleep.  By avoiding these activities, you keep your body in a relaxed state, increasing the likelihood that you’ll be able to quickly and comfortably fall asleep.

You’ll want to stay away from alcohol and caffeine for at least four hours before you want to go to bed.  Both of these are proven to be notorious interrupters, and should be avoided too close to the time you want to be falling asleep.

If you find yourself laying awake for a while, unable to fall asleep, don’t get up.  Keep your body laying down and in a rested position, as not getting up and moving about will keep your body as relaxed as possible, increasing he likelihood you’ll fall asleep.  You can also turn to reading, or some sort of mellow music you enjoy.  Both are proven to help you drift off.

And finally, get your body used to waking up every morning around the same time, no matter how much you’ve gotten.  This way you set your body’s clock to the same time everyday, wiring your brain to do everything in it’s power to help you fall asleep so that you can get as much as you need.
